Ensemble XII Summer Residency

Hi everyone...I wanted to share some exciting news concerning Ensemble XII. This August, the 12 of us will travel from six different countries to San Diego where we will record the complete percussion works (a double CD!!) of Swiss composer & percussionist Fritz Hauser. Also, we will record a full album of our great commissions from our years spent in Lucerne, Switzerland. This particular recording will be conducted by the great Steven Schick! Finally, Ensemble XII will give several performances of Fritz Hauser's improvisation-instilation, Rundum. Trust me when I say that all percussionists, improvisors, composers will not want to miss these concerts. Some of the wildest, most sublime music that I've been a part of was made with Ensemble XII in these free improvisations....
